Brush: Start with Dry or Damp Hair: Ensure the hair is either dry or slightly damp. Avoid brushing when the hair is very wet to prevent stress and damage to the hair strands.

Begin at the Tips: Start detangling from the ends of the hair and work your way up to the roots. This technique reduces pulling and pain associated with knot removal.

Use Gentle Strokes: Brush with gentle, firm strokes. If you encounter a tangle, hold the hair near the root to minimize pulling on the scalp while gently working through the knot.
